Beginner: Basics For US Leagues

This course is designed to present the basics of mechanics, administration, and philosophy to prospective referees who possess the knowledge of the game common to former players and coaches but who have never whistled and have never had formal referee training. The content in this course is designed for complete novices solely as a lead-in to taking, and completing, intermediate level courses.

Students are expected to possess working knowledge of the game equivalent to what would be known by a good 18U or any college player
